Chapter 8, the last chapter of the textbook, discusses the history and development of the Internet. Check out the link below to read an article on the Internet and answer the 15 questions in complete sentences. Spelling and proper grammar count! Make sure that “Internet” is spelled with a capital – as it is a monumentally important noun!!

ITC 401B: Canadian Music Artist Biography

CANADIAN MUSIC ARTIST BIOGRAPHY     Total = 15 Marks                 Due Date: Thurs April 22

Choose your favourite Canadian Rock and Roll artist (dead or alive), and write a brief biography about him/her. Answer the following questions in complete sentences. Grammar and spelling count!!  I expect a proper cover page which includes the artist’s name, a graphic (band logo, etc),  your name, course number, my name, and date submitted.  

Be sure to type your essay in Microsoft Word, save it in your G drive, and email it to me from your school account as an attachment to: habrooks@edu.pe.ca  Late assignments will be penalized 10% per day.

3) What style of music do they perform? (1 mark)

4) List the titles of some major hit songs. (2 marks)

5) How many albums did they produce? (1 mark)

7) Did they win any music awards? If so, what and when? (1 mark)

8) Where are they now? What are they doing? (1 mark)

ITC 401B Assignments: Apr 12-16

ITC 401B Students:  I will be posting homework assignments and reminders on this blog, so please get in the habit of checking it, especially if you are absent.  For next week, you will be working on Chapter 5 Computer Literacy questions, Speedtyping practice #15 or #16, Numeric Keyboarding lessons 9-12, and the Canadian Rock and Roll website assignment. A reminder that late assignments WILL be penalized 10% per day…. Report cards will be out next week as well.
